Lucknow, Nov. 29 -- A vibrant cultural stream of stories, poems, and dialogues will flow for seven days from December 4 to 11 in Uttar Pradesh council schools.
As per the instructions of the Ministry of Education, Government of India, this event will be organized in about 1.32 lakh council schools of Uttar Pradesh, and nearly 1.48 crore children will participate.
"Council schools", often referred to locally as Parishad schools or Parishadiya Vidyalaya, are government-run primary and upper primary schools managed by the Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Council (UPBEC), which falls under the Department of Basic Education.
