Kakinada, July 30 -- East Godavari superintendent of police Ravindranath babu has announced that illicit liquor would not be allowed and police would come down heavily on those involved in the trade including illicit distillation, transportation and marketing.
Interacting with media persons on the city outskirts after personally supervising the mass destruction of the I D Liquor worth over Rs 50 lakhs , seized by the Special Enforcement Bureau all over the district along the sea shore on the city outskirts near Nemam on Friday ,he said thousands of families were involved in the illicit business of ID Liquor and facing criminal cases .
