Mumbai, April 10 -- Jaypee Group founder Jaiprakash Gaur issued an official statement on Friday stating that he is "confident" that the legacy of Jaiprakash Associates Limited (JAL) will be carried forward under the leadership of the Adani Group, after its selection as the successful resolution applicant.
"I have full confidence that under the leadership of Gautam Adani, the legacy of Jaiprakash Associates will be carried forward with renewed energy, responsibility and purpose, ensuring that aspirations of all stakeholders are fulfilled," Gaur said.
Gaur stated that he respects the decision of the Committee of Creditors (CoC) which selected the Adani Group as the successful resolution applicant.
