Marrakech (Morrocco), Nov. 29 -- The 22nd Marrakech Film Festival kicked off on Friday night with a glamorous screening of Gus Van Sant's latest film, 'Dead Man Wire,' attended by Oscar-winning director Bong Joon Ho, actors Jenna Ortega, Anya Taylor-Joy, and other international cinema stars, reported Variety.
Bong, whose Parasite won the Academy Award for Best Picture, is serving as this year's jury president. He received a standing ovation at the opening ceremony and shared reflections on his early days in filmmaking.
