Bengaluru, Nov. 26 -- Amid growing speculation about a potential change in leadership in Karnataka, Congress MLA Iqbal Hussain on Wednesday reiterated his belief that Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar would "soon" take over as chief minister, declaring he was "200 per cent" certain of the transition.

Hussain, the MLA from Ramanagara, has consistently voiced his position on the leadership issue. Back in September and again in early November, he told regional media that the Congress high command had an "understanding" on power transfer and that Shivakumar "deserved" the top post.
