Lucknow, Dec. 30 -- Around 170 sheep were found dead under mysterious circumstances near Rashtriya Prerna Sthal in Lucknow's Madeyganj area, prompting Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath to order a thorough inquiry into the incident.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has taken cognisance of the matter and directed officials to conduct a thorough inquiry to determine the exact cause of the deaths. The Chief Minister has also announced compensation of Rs 10,000 for each deceased sheep.
A thorough probe is underway to ascertain whether the sheep died due to negligence, poisoning, or foul play.
