Dhaka, May 27 -- Dr Zubaida Rahman, wife of BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman, spent some time Tuesday with underprivileged children at 'Suravi', an organisation founded by her late mother that provides education to poor children.
She came to the Suravi office in Dhanmondi around noon and visited the classrooms to talk with the children.
Zubaida also visited an exhibition displaying Suravi's 40 years of activities across the country and artworks by her mother Syeda Iqbal Mand Banu.
Upon her arrival at the office, Zubaida was warmly welcomed with flowers by teachers, staff members, and the organisation's executive director Md Abu Taher.
