Khulna, Nov. 28 -- A young man was killed in a knife attack by unidentified assailants near Khulishpur Police Station in Khulna.

The deceased identified as Ishan, 22, a resident of Petka Bazar in Mujgunni and son of Bacchu. Another youth, Raj, sustained serious injuries in the same incident.

The attack occurred around 7:15 pm on Thursday near Fair Clinic in Khulishpur. Raj, the injured, is the son of Mizan Uddin from Sonadanga residential area- 2nd Phase.

Locals said a scuffle broke out near the clinic, during which an unknown person stabbed both Ishan and Raj before fleeing the scene.
