Khulna, Feb. 16 -- For the first time, a consignment of wheat imported from Argentina has been unloaded at Mongla, the country's second-largest seaport.

According to Abdus Sobhan Sardar, Assistant Controller of the Mongla Food Controller Office, the vessel carrying 50,200 metric tonnes (MT) of wheat had initially docked at Chittagong Port.

There, 30,120 MT of wheat were unloaded, while the remaining quantity was scheduled for unloading at Mongla.
