The cyclonic storm "Senyar" over the Strait of Malacca and adjoining area weakened into a deep depression over the same area near latitude 3.6degN & longitude 99.2degE on Thursday morning.

It is likely to move southeast or eastwards and weaken gradually, according the BMD.
