Kushtia, Dec. 16 -- Victory Day was celebrated at Islamic University (IU) in Kushtia on Tuesday through various programs.

Marking the day, the national and university flags were raised by university Vice-Chancellor Professor Nakib Muhammad Nasrullah, and Pro-Vice Chancellor Professor M Yeaqub Ali with guard of honor by university BNCC and Rover Scouts.

The VC Dr Nasrullah inaugurated the victory day ceremony by flying the Balloon in the sky, symbolising joyousness, along with its Pro-Vice Chancellor Dr M Yeaqub and treasurer Dr Jahangir Alam.
