, July 29 -- year-old man died from electrocution at Mathurapur village in Dhunat upazila of Bogura district on Tuesday.

The deceased was identified as Zahidul Islam, son of Alimuddin alias Palan Sheikh of the village.

Quoting local people, Saidul Alam, officer-in-charge of Dhunat Police Station, said Zahidul came in contact with live electric wire in the morning and fell unconscious.

Later, he died on the way to Dhunat Upazila Health Complex.
