Dhaka, Aug. 4 -- Chief Adviser's Press Secretary Shafiqul Alam on Sunday said the July Uprising served as a revealing moment for the media landscape, showcasing both commendable and questionable journalism across the country.

He said this while addressing a program arranged to honour the families of the martyred journalists and injured media personnel in the July Uprising at the Information Building in the capital.

Shafiqul Alam said that many journalists risked their lives during the uprising-some even made the ultimate sacrifice.
