Dhaka, Feb. 11 -- A young man was killed after an oil tanker lost control and crashed into an old car showroom in the Bhatara area of the capital on Tuesday afternoon.
The identity of the deceased, aged around 25, could not be confirmed immediately. The victim was wearing a checkered t-shirt and trousers, said police.

Confirming the incident, Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Ashraful Islam of Bhatara Police Station said the accident took place on Progati Sarani Road near the police station. The oil tanker had unloaded fuel at the airport and was returning towards Badda when the driver lost control, ramming into the old car showroom.
