Dhaka, Jan. 7 -- An unidentified man, aged around 45, died after being hit by a train in the Khilkhet area of the capital on Tuesday.

The incident occurred at around 11:30 am near the opposite side of the Le Meridien Hotel in Khilkhet. The victim was rescued in critical condition and taken to the emergency department of Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH), where he died at around 1:30 pm while undergoing treatment.
