Dhaka, April 5 -- Underprivileged and meritorious students of Mathurapara Basir Kazi High School in Bogura's Sariakandi upazila have received financial assistance from the school's alumni association as part of a humanitarian initiative.

The aid was distributed on Wednesday (April 2) at a special event held on the school premises, organised by the Mathurapara Basir Kazi High School Alumni Association.

Established in 2020, the Alumni Association funded the programme through its welfare fund.

Association President Md Mozzafar Rahman, an agriculturist, presided over the event.

Kazi Erfanur Rahman Rentu, a respected member of the school's founding family, renowned businessman and social worker, attended the event as the chief guest.
