Dhaka, Feb. 3 -- K's Human Rights Ambassador Eleanor Sanders has met a two-member BNP delegation and discussed Bangladesh's human rights situation and the upcoming national election.
The meeting was held at the British High Commission in Dhaka at 3:30pm on Monday, said BNP media cell member Sayrul Kabir Khan.
On behalf of BNP, he said party standing committee member Dr Abdul Moyeen Khan and organising secretary Shama joined the meeting.
A BNP leader, wishing anonymity, said Sanders voiced concern over the deteriorating law and order situation and ongoing human rights issues, including the recent alleged extrajudicial killing of a Jubo Dal leader in Cumilla.
