, March 1 -- Two suspected robbers were killed and five others injured in a lynch-mob attack in Angaria of Sadar upazila of Shariatpur district on Friday night.

The identities of the deceased have not yet been confirmed.

During the incident, four people sustained bullet injuries in a robbery attempt. They were identified as Tota Mia (35), son of Dalil Uddin from Shariatpur; Masum Mia (30), a bulkhead worker and son of Joynal Mia; and Alamin (19), another bulkhead worker and son of Anis Fakir from Pirojpur.
