, April 27 -- Detectives have arrested two identified armed criminals along with a foreign pistol and bullets during a raid in the New Town Bazar fish market area under Pallabi Police Station in the capital on Sunday night.

The arrestees were identified as Huda Mamun (40) and Orin (35).

Briefing reporters at DMP media centre in the city's Minto Road on Sunday afternoon, Deputy Commissioner ( Mirpur Division) of Detective Branch (DB) under Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Mizanur Rahman said based on secret information, a DB team conducted an overnight operation on Sunday and arrested the duo from a secret room inside the market.
