Chuadanga, July 4 -- Two motorcycle riders were killed after being hit by a pickup van on the Alamdanga-Kushtia regional road in Chuadanga district, police said.

The tragic accident occurred around 9:30 pm Thursday in the Naodapara area of Alamdanga upazila.

Two brothers among 4 dead from electrocution in three districts

The deceased were identified as Riyad (13), son of Mahmudul Hasan Chanchal, chairman of Belgachi Union Parishad, and Md. Zahurul Islam Palash (35), a resident of Faridpur village in Alamdanga and an employee of the chairman's farm.
