Dhaka, Oct. 28 -- The Advisors Council Committee on Economic Affairs on Tuesday declined to give policy approval to two separate proposals placed by the Ministry of Industries and the Ministry of Textiles and Jute.

One of the proposals, placed by the Ministry of Industries, sought approval for transferring the shares of state-owned Chittagong Dry Dock Limited (CDDL) to the Ministry of Defence. The committee, however, did not recommend the proposal for policy approval.
