Narail, Feb. 12 -- Two people were killed in a head-on collision between two motorcycles in Narail Sadar upazila on Wednesday, according to police.

The victims were identified as Sentu Howlader, 25, from Tulaampur village in Sadar upazila, and Sabbir, 19, from Chalitatla village.

The accident occurred on the Narail-Kalia road in the afternoon when the two motorcycles collided. Sentu Howlader died on the spot.

Sabbir, who was injured in the crash, was initially taken to Narail Sadar Hospital. He was later referred to Dhaka for advanced treatment but succumbed to his injuries while en route.
