Bagerhat, April 4 -- olice arrested two men in connection with the gang rape and videotaping of a woman in Bagerhat.

The arrested individuals were identified as Sajeeb Das (19) and Likhon Das (20), both residents of Karori village in Rakhalgachi union under Bagerhat Sadar upazila. However, another accused, Sheikh Nazrul Islam (40), remains at large.

Md Mahmud-ul-Hasan, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Bagerhat Model Police Station, said that the victim filed a case on Friday afternoon, naming three individuals and an unidentified suspect.

"Following the complaint, we conducted a drive on Friday afternoon and arrested two of the named accused. Efforts are underway to arrest the remaining suspects," he added.
