Dhaka, Dec. 6 -- Former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has confirmed he is in a relationship with pop star Katy Perry after the two appeared together at a diplomatic lunch in Tokyo.

Perry paused her Lifetimes world tour to join Trudeau for a meeting with former Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida and his wife Yuko. Trudeau later posted a photo of the meeting on X, writing that he and Perry were happy to sit with Kishida and thanked him for his friendship.

In the photo, Perry is seen standing beside Trudeau in a green outfit while Trudeau appears in a grey suit. Kishida replied to the post, wishing the couple happy holidays.
