, Nov. 16 -- Home Affairs Adviser Lt Gen (retd) Md Jahangir Alam Chowdhury on Sunday said whatever verdict the tribunal delivers in case against former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Monday will be implemented and the people will accept it.

"I do not know what the tribunal will decide, but whatever the verdict may be, it will be implemented and people will abide by it," he said while talking to reporters after a meeting with senior officials of law enforcement agencies and the field administration in Barishal District Police Lines.

Law enforcement agencies are fully prepared to prevent any untoward incident centering the verdict, he said.
