Satkhira, Aug. 30 -- A teenage boy was killed in a road accident at Isakur in Shyamnagar upazila on Friday.

The deceased was identified as Sadek Hossain, 18, son of Samsur Hazari of Parulgaccha village in Kaliganj upazila.

Rokon Mia, sub-inspector of Shyamnagar Police Station, said the accident took place around 9 am when a motorbike hit a van while overtaking a human hauler, leaving Sadek injured.

The injured was taken to Shyamnagar upazila health complex where doctors declared him dead.
