Dhaka, March 2 -- BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman has urged the country's religious leaders - Ulema and Mashayekh -- to consider if Ramadan and Eid could be observed on the same day as the rest of the world does in this age of science and technology.
"I would like to request you to think about whether it is possible in the age of science, whether a way can be found," he said.
He made the request joining an Iftar Mahfil at the Ladies Club in Eskaton in the city through a virtual platform from London.
