Brahmanbaria, Aug. 30 -- National Citizen Party (NCP) Chief Organizer (South) Hasnat Abdullah on Saturday warned that without systemic reform, the fate of party leaders and activists may mirror that of Nurul Haque Nur, who was recently attacked.

"The attack on Nur bhai is a message for all of us," said Hasnat while addressing a courtyard meeting titled 'Uthane Notun Songbidhan' at Chhatarpur School Ground in Bijoynagar upazila of Brahmanbaria.

The event was organised by the NCP's Bijoynagar Upazila Committee to demand Constituent Assembly elections, a new constitution, justice, and reforms.

Referring to past incidents, Hasnat said, "We saw Tarique Rahman forced to leave the country ...
