Dhaka, Aug. 24 -- Like the others franchise of Bangladesh Premier League (BPL), Sylhet Sixers also asked Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) to introduce a financial model of the marquee domestic cricket event ensuring sharing profits with the participating teams.

The BPL governing body is currently conducting meetings with the franchise before finalising rules and regulations for the next cycle of the event. Sixers met the governing body on Saturday and talked to the media as well.

"We have talked about many thinks with BCB. We have talked about how to rope the players for the next edition, what will be the rules of retention next year; these were the main topic of discussion," CEO of Sylhet SixersYasir Obayed told the media.
