, Sept. 2 -- The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) has arrested an accused in the case filed over the killing of student leader Nadimul Haque Elem during last year's anti-discrimination movement.
The arrestee was identified as Sarwar Uddin Ahmed Mithu, 55, president of Sutrapur Thana unit of Swechchhasebak League.
Based on secret information, a team of CID (Dhaka Metro South) conducted a drive on early hours of Monday and arrested him from his Narinda Road residence under Gandaria Police Station in the capital, said Jashim Uddin Khan,
