Dhaka, June 15 -- Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Bangladesh Alexander Khozin on Sunday said he is confident that stronger ties with Bangladesh will benefit both Moscow and Dhaka.

"This cooperation will bring security and prosperity to our peoples, as well as stability to the region and the world," he said while speaking at a reception.

The Embassy of the Russian Federation in Dhaka hosted the reception on the occasion of Russia Day.

Power, Energy and Mineral Resources Adviser Muhammad Fouzul Kabir Khan spoke as the chief guest, recalling the solid foundation Bangladesh-Russia relations stand on and expessing optimism about deepening bilatral cooperation in energy and agriculture sectors.
