Chuadanga, Feb. 6 -- A group of students vandalised the murals of Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and Sheikh Fazilatunnesa Mujib in Chuadanga on Wednesday night.
They also demolished the district Awami League office and an installation featuring Sheikh Mujib's portrait during the protest.
The incident took place around 11pm when students gathered in front of Chuadanga Government College and marched towards the deputy commissioner's office premises. Armed with hammers, axes, and sticks, they smashed the portraits of Bangabandhu and Fazilatunnesa before using an excavator to demolish the installation.
