Dhaka, Feb. 19 -- Inaugurating food basket distribution, Saudi Ambassador to Bangladesh Essa Yousef Essa Alduhailan on Tuesday said Saudi Arabia's cooperation with the people of Bangladesh will continue.

The food basket project is an example of the Saudi government's interest and harmony in supporting the development of Bangladesh, said the Ambassador.

The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) of the KSA provided the food baskets.

A total of 15,860 food baskets (essential commodities) will be distributed to the needy in 23 districts of the country ahead of the upcoming Ramadan.

Sunbulah Welfare Association will help in implementing this program in Bangladesh.
