Dhaka, Feb. 3 -- Saraswati Puja has been celebrated with great fervour and grandeur at Dhaka University, attracting a large number of devotees.

The festivities at the Jagannath Hall premises kicked off with the worship of Goddess Saraswati, the deity of knowledge and the arts, on Monday.

Devotees participated in various rituals, including offering flowers at the goddess's feet and performing Bani Archona. The priest officially began the Puja around 7:30 am with the Bani Archona and the flower offerings commencing at 8:30 am.
