Feni, Nov. 13 -- Suspected saboteurs cut down trees and placed them on the Dhaka-Chattogram railway tracks in Maheshpur area of Feni Sadar upazila early Thursday, but a major accident was averted thanks to the prompt action of the Railway Engineering Department.

According to railway police, a routine early-morning patrol spotted tree branches lying on the tracks near Alokdiya in Maheshpur and immediately removed them, ensuring uninterrupted train movement.
