, Jan. 13 -- An attempted rape case has been filed against Rajshahi University (RU) Assistant Prof. Dulal Ali Mollah.

A woman filed the case on January 4 with Chandrima Police Station, said Officer-in-Charge of the police station Emran Hossain.

According to the case statement, Prof. Dulal, a teacher of Department of Agronomy and Agriculture Extension had developed a relationship with the women in 2021.

On December 27, last year, the accused took the woman to a residential hotel named Padma Residential area under Chandrima Police Station on the pretext of his mother's illness.
