Dhaka, Feb. 16 -- Three people including a child were killed and a woman was injured in two separate road accidents in Madaripur and Kushtia districts on Saturday night and Sunday morning.

The deceased were identified as Limon Befari, son of Nur Mohammad Befari, and Nayon, son of Rustom Haolader, both hailing from Shibchar upazila of Madaripur, and Ibrahim, of Kushtia Sadar upazila.

In Madaripur, a motorbike carrying two friends Limon and Nayon crashed into a speeding drum truck in Purbo Sannisirchar area of Shibchar upazila around 11:30pm, leaving Limon dead on the spot, said Sadar police station's Officer-in-Charge Jahirul Islam.
