Dhaka, Sept. 19 -- BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi on Friday urged their party's leaders and activists across the country to stay alert during the upcoming Durga Puja to ensure peace and communal harmony.

He made the call while speaking at a virtual meeting with BNP's district and got unit presidents or conveners, general secretaries or member secretaries, and divisional organising and assistant organising secretaries, said a press release.

During the meeting, Rizvi called for maintaining peace at puja venues, preventing any acts of sabotage or conspiracy, and staying cautious alongside the administration.
