Rajshahi, Feb. 12 -- BNP Senior Joint General Secretary Ruhul Kabir Rizvi has accused former prime minister Sheikh Hasina of spreading incitement while staying in India without a passport or visa.

"Sheikh Hasina has sold Bangladesh's independence and sovereignty to India little by little. She lost power in the face of student and public movements. She embezzled money in the name of building the Padma Bridge and Metrorail and smuggled it abroad," he said at a memorial meeting held on Wednesday at Taherpur High School ground in Bagmara Upazila of Rajshahi, marking the 23rd death anniversary of Prof Abdul Wahed Mandal.
