Dhaka, March 8 -- A rickshawpuller who was arrested during clashes between police and the banned organization Hizb ut-Tahrir during its March for Khilafah on Friday, has been released on the intervention of Youth and Sports Adviser Asif Mahmud Sajib Bhuiyan.

On Friday (March 7) at around 5:15 pm, Asif Mahmud took him from the DB office.

It has been reported that during the clash between the banned group Hizb ut-Tahrir and police, a rickshawpuller was seen getting involved, hitting one of the group's members. He was then arrested by joint forces at the spot. The footage of the arrest quickly spread on social media, leading many people to demand his release.
