, May 5 -- A restaurant at Bailey Road in the capital caught fire on Monday.

Shahjahan Shikder, a deputy assistant director at the Fire Service and Civil Defence, said the fire broke out at the restaurant around 6:47 pm and spread soon.

On information, three firefighting units rushed to the spot and were working to put out the blaze.

However, it is still not clear what actually caused the fire.
