Jhenaidah, Dec. 12 -- Gono Odhikar Parishad General Secretary Rashed Khan on Friday demanded the arrest of those involved in the attack on Inqilab Mancha convener Sharif Osman bin Hadi within 24 hours, warning that failure to do so should prompt the resignation of the Home Affairs Adviser.

He made the remarks while speaking to reporters after a roadside rally at Holidhani Bazar in Jhenaidah Sadar upazila.

Rashed Khan said he was "deeply shocked" by the shooting, describing Hadi as a long-time comrade in what he called the anti-fascism movement. "Hadi is now fighting for his life after being shot by terrorists," he said.
