Dhaka, Aug. 11 -- The country may experience rain on Monday when Muslims will celebrate Eid-ul-Azha.

Parts of the eight divisions are likely to see light to moderate rain or thundershowers, accompanied by gusty winds in the next 24 hours (until 6pm Monday), the Met Office said in a regular weather bulletin on Sunday.

A few places might be hit by moderately heavy rainfall during this period.

Dhaka's poor drainage system often leads to waterlogging after rains. But heavy rain during Eid-ul-Azha will make disposal of animal waste a little difficult and cause health hazards.
