Chattogram, May 14 -- Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus on Wednesday said the port city of Chattogram must get rid of the waterlogging and instructed the authorities concerned to take effective steps to deal with the problem.

Describing the waterlogging as symbolic but a severe problem, the Chief Adviser asked local administration to create an instance by effectively mitigating the longstanding crisis.

"Since the monsoon season has already arrived this year, it will not be possible to completely solve the problem this time," Prof Yunus said.
