Dhaka, July 24 -- Private security service providers in Bangladesh have called for greater recognition and dignity for the country's growing private security sector.

The call was made during a daylong program organized by Euro Vigil Private Limited, one of the leading private security companies in the country, on the occasion of International Security Officer Day at its Baridhara headquarters in the capital.

Senior officials of the company, trainers, and over a hundred security personnel participated in the event aimed at raising awareness, honoring the profession, and boosting the morale of private security professionals.
