Dhaka, Feb. 5 -- Hussaini, Aga Khan IV, and 49th hereditary Imam of the Shia Ismaili Muslims passed away peacefully in Lisbon on February 4, surrounded by his family. He was 88.

Prince Karim Aga Khan was the founder and chairman of the Aga Khan Development Network (AKDN).

The announcement of his designated successor will follow, said outgoing Resident Representative of the Aga Khan Development Network (AKDN) in Dhaka Munir M. Merali on Wednesday.
