, April 8 -- Law enforcement agencies have launched a series of quick operations in response to violent incidents and vandalism that broke out during pro-Gaza demonstrations in several cities on Monday.
According to a statement issued by the Chief Adviser's press wing, the attacks and acts of vandalism are considered a direct threat to public safety and the rule of law.
The police have acted swiftly, and two cases have been formally filed. They have already arrested at least 49 people in connection with the incidents.
Further investigations are underway and additional cases are in the process of being filed against those responsible for these reprehensible acts.
