, Feb. 27 -- A workshop titled 'Bangladesh's Plastics & Footwear Sector Internalization' on Thursday shed light on challenges and opportunities in plastic goods and footwear sectors.

A project EC4J initiated by the Ministry of Commerce hosted the workshop in the city.

The primary objective of EC4J (Export Competitiveness for Jobs) project is to strengthen export market linkages for Plastics & Footwear sectors by showcasing Bangladesh as a credible sourcing destination.

Joint Secretary and Deputy Project Director of EC4J Project Sheikh Mohammad Abdur Rahman was the chief guest while the workshop was presided over by Deputy Secretary and Deputy Project Director of EC4J Project Dr Md Habibur Rahman.
