Dhaka, Aug. 31 -- The pilot operation of a locally developed digital traffic signal system began on Saturday at seven key intersections along the Dhaka Airport corridor.
Authorities have urged all commuters and motorists to strictly follow traffic laws and cooperate with the new system to ensure its effective implementation, according to the Ministry of Road Transport and Bridges.
The initiative aims to modernise traffic management and reduce congestion in one of the capital's busiest corridors.
