Dhaka, May 16 -- The Pakistan High Commission in Dhaka on Friday organised an event to observe Youm-e-Tashakur, celebrating Pakistan's resounding victory in Operation Bunyaan-um-Marsoos and Marka-e-Haq.

The event paid rich tributes to the Armed Forces of Pakistan and the resilient people of the country for safeguarding its sovereignty and territorial integrity against open aggression.

The gathering offered special prayers for the martyrs of armed forces and for the continued peace, progress and prosperity of the nation.
